Oddmall: Chrishanukwanzmadan
Oddmall: Chrishanukwanzmadan at a glance
WHAT: Chrishanukwanzmadan is Oddmall’s holiday show celebration. Dozens of vendors, live entertainment, Santas and elves and pirates and Hanukkah Armadillos and Krampus and all the other stuff you’ve come to associate with the winter holidays figuratively drips from the walls and ceilings like tinsel from the buns of a curiously gluttonous cat. Don’t picture that last part. I don’t know why I wrote it.
WHEN: December 8th, 9th, and 10th, 2023
WHEN WHEN: Friday 6pm-10pm, Saturday 10am-6pm, Sunday 10am-5pm
WHERE: Quality Inn & Suites 4742 Brecksville Rd, Richfield, OH 44286
HOW MUCH: While entry is completely free, we have it on good authority that your generous donation of five dollars or more will plop you firmly on Santa’s nice list…
HOW: Ski, sled, or travel by flying reindeer. Maybe drive a car or some sort of custom van with a muscular, guitar-playing Santa Claus airbrushed on the side panel.
WHY: It’s an Oddmall holiday show. An. Oddmall. Holiday. Show. This is absolutely the best place in the universe to nab amazing gifts for the people you love and also the people to whom you are obligated by social contract to buy gifts for even though you’d rather not.
Event details can be found here.

Transcendental Goddesses
Artist Statement:
I am fascinated by the trajectory of human ingenuity throughout time. Inspired by megaliths, natural landscapes, and ancient architecture, Transcendental Goddesses explores the human connection to the planet, spirit, and mind. I illustrate goddesses as metaphors of natural forces, spirituality, and human ingenuity.
I look beyond cultural and geographical boundaries focusing on the interconnections amongst humans. From our origins, humans have harnessed nature not only to survive, but to express spiritual visions, motivating the evolution of technology. I combine the metaphysical with surreal representations of vibrations, sound, and thought patterns. I illustrate the relationships of meditational states, natural forms, and their influence on the creation of sacred spaces.
I also explore the inflection point when the acceleration of technological development separated us from the earth. Humans live in a delicate balance between their dependence on nature and the consequences of their artificial creations. We use technology to transcend natural life, yet we must remember to maintain our connection with the earth to achieve balance and sustainability.
